Join us for this hybrid evidence-based Advanced Vestibular course this September 2024 hosted with Providence Health System. 

This course will provide clinicians the ability to evaluate and manage patients with Atypical BPPV and Advanced Vestibular presentations.

A variety of education materials will be presented in order to enhance learning via video lectures and practical hands on training. The Live Lab on September 15, 2024 and will focus on examination and treatment atypical BPPV and Advanced vestibular rehab principles.

The course is intended to enhance the clinician’s ability to determine the diagnosis of complex vestibular conditions and implementation adv. vestibular rehabilitation principles.

Course Objectives

 - Discuss and demonstrate recent advances in BPPV and management of atypical vestibular disorders
- Differentiate between central positional vertigo and BPPV
- Differentiate between visual and physical motion sensitivity.
- Discuss advances in vestibular rehabilitation and develop a rehabilitation program for atypical vestibular disorders
- Discuss relevant diagnostic criteria for vestibular migraine and management strategies
- Review psychological & central processing disorders such as:  Chronic Subjective Dizziness or Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness, Migraine and Anxiety Related Dizziness (MARD), Phobic Postural Vertigo and Motor Conversion Disorder
